MILK & HONEY body cream*

On my blog I would like to share a blog post, in which I will tell you more about the new cream from Oriflame. It is called the Milk & Honey gold hand & body cream, 8.3 fl. oz. (9.99 €). It is a rich moisturising cream which softens, conditions and nourishes your hands and body delectably. It also has organically sourced extracts - milk and honey. We can apply the cream all over our body, also we can use it on our hands. I use the cream just after the shower, usually in the evening. I really like how the cream works with my skin, because it is not greasy or sticky, so it is easy and fast to apply. Because the cream is moisturizing, it does not give you a longlasting hydratation effect. So if you don't have extremly dry skin, then this is perfect for you, otherwise you should apply the cream more often for the same results.

I am also testing the new lip balm Tender Care, 15 ml. Perfect to put in your handbag or as a special gift, Tender Care is a beautiful balm specially formulated for dry skin. HALLOWEEN Half Skelton Face

Happy Helloween girls. It is here and if you are like me, then you are trying to figure out what are you gonna be for that Halloween party. This year I decided to be a skelton... Yeah, I know nothing new and exciting, but let me show you how I did it. As you can see on the picture, I painted just the half of my face. On my eyes I am wearing a regular makeup, some falsies and green contacts. I think this Halloween mask is really fun and not too much, and it is also appropriate for school, work,... or you can rock it on the party. The skelton mask is also the easiest to dress. I am wearing all black, and that's it.

1 - What is  more important to you: The photos or the writing on your blog?

I am very visusal person. If something catch my eyes I am all over it. But on the other hand you can't neglect the content of your blog posts. At the end of the day this is what your readers will read. So, writing and the photos are very important, but for me personaly I have to say photos.

2 - Who do you look up to?

I look up to my mum. She is vry nice and calm person. I try to be more like her, because she has just the biggest heart. And always ready to help. Luv you mama.

3 - What's your best post, and why do you think that?

My best post is makeup GEEK palette review. I tried to took the best pictures and the swatches, and I did it. They look just like in person. That post took me a whole day, but I think it was worth it. I hope you like it.

4 - How tall are you?

I am 5.3 feet or 163 cm. And I love being short.

5 - What's your favourite clothing piece?

It must be my dark wash skinny jeans. They are so comfortable and universal. I can wear them to school, work, night out... What I really love about them is that you can dress the up or dress them down. They can be paired with sneakers or with high heels. Plus they makes your legs super skinny and your booty really nice.

6 - Which pair of shoes do you wear the most and why, picture?

I wear the most my white converse shoes. They are so comfortable and you can almost wear them all year round. I jus bought my second pair. 

7 - What's your perfect school/work outfit?

Perfect school outfit is white v-neck shirt, dark wash skinny jeans, converse shoes, cardigan and a scarf. It is super casual and comfy. I live in those outfits.

8 - Coffee or tea?

Tea. But cold/ice tea. I dont like it hot. My favourite is cold green tea with ice and lemon, no sugar. 

9 - Pizza or fries?

Pizza. I am a huge pizza fan. I could eat it everyday for the rest of my life. So good. 

10 - How many hours a week do you spend on your blog (approximate)?

I usually spend around three to four hours per day on my blog, so I would say about 15 hours per week. Sometimes even more.

5 FALL Beauty MUST Haves

Fall is my favorite season. Don't get me wrong I love summer, but when fall comes in, I am all about it. I love expirimanting with new make up and trying different make up trends. The most exciting thing are the lips, and buying some new shades. I really like the look of vampy lips and I think nothing screams fall more then this. Second very important fall step are the eyebrows. To make the contrast to lips, I like to wear very defined and shaped eyebrows. On the other hand I want to be neutral with the eyes. So the must have eyes stuff for the fall 2014 is the Naked2 Basics palette. There are some gorgeous very natural looking colors. You can create any eye look with it. Good looking complexion is a must have all year round. Just like that. I decide to include the Maybelline Wonder Complexion foundation, because this baby has some very good reviews. Last but not least are the nails. How can we talk about fall and beauty without dark nail polish. I choose the burgundy color Max Factor. The nail polish has great coverage, you only need one layer and it does not chip.

While shopping some new makeup products online I discovered an awesome site called Raise. It offers discounted gift cards from some of my favorite retailers, and not just for makeup, but everything that you can think of. I got super excited when I saw that you can buy Sephora gift cards for 14% off their valued price. You can also sell them. Believe me, you will be shopping till you drop and your wallet won't get empty.

Since I can't post any pictures on my blog, because I am very sick, I decided to do this fun tag that I saw on Elle Fowler site.

How many times do you wash your face daily?
Twice, although sometimes I am lazy and skip my morning wash. Then I use just a cleansing wipe. But I always wash my face at night, if it is needed even twice.

What skin type do you have?

Combo.

What is your current facial wash?
Himalaya face wash cream.

Do you exfoliate?
Yes, I do. I use a face brush which is super cheap works amazing. You can see it here.

What brand do you use?
Clean & Clear - Morning burst.

What moisturizer do you use?
Nivea Soft.

Do you have freckles?

No.

Do you use eye cream?
No, I don't. But I put 2-3 layers face cream around my eyes. For me it works just as good.

Do you or did you have acne prone skin?
No, luckily I don't.

Did you ever have to use Pro-activ?
No.

What foundation do you use?
L'Oreal True Match.

How about concealer?
Essence cover stick.

Do you know your undertone color?
I am  considered warm, with red undertones.

What do you think of fake eyelashes?
I love them! I wear glasses every day, so I am not able to wear them together. I use them for special occasions.

Did you know that you are supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?
Yes! I am very good at that, because I am a mascara freak.

What brand of mascara do you use?
Currently I am using  essence get BIG lashes and MaxFactor Masterpiece.

Sephora or MAC?
MAC.

Do you have a MAC Pro-card?
No, becaue MAC is not sold in my country.

What makeup tools do you use in make up application?
Brushes mainly, cotton swabs, sponges.

Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?
Always – I use essence and it is amazing.

What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)?
Half baked from Naked2 palette.

Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?
Pencil. I don't use liquid.

How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?
Not very often, never.

What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?
I like them, but  don't use them so much, because I think they are harder to work with.

Do you use mineral makeup?
No.

What is your favorite lipstick?
Maybelline - Mystic Mauve.

How about lipgloss?
L'Oreal Candy Girl Collection Glam Shine Lipgloss in Tarte Lillipop.

What is your favorite blush to use?

Nope.

                                 Greed- what is your most expensive beauty item?

I went through my whole make up collection, closet, and it has to be my hair dryer. It is from Babyliss ipro 2200 and it is amazing. It dries my hair super quick and I could no live withouth it. I can straight my hair with it too, so that is a plus. I bougt it in my local drugstore and it was around 70 €, $ 90, £ 59.

Wrath- which item do you have a love/hate relationship with?

L'oreal infallible foundation. Sometimes I love the colour and the coverage that it gives me, but sometimes my face is pink and I look terrible.

Gluttony- what brand makes up most of your make-up collection?

I would have to decide between maybelline and essence. Overall it has to be essence. I buy essence because it is super cheap, great quality and I just want their products. It is not my favourite make-up brand.

Sloth- which product do you neglect the most due to laziness?

Eyeshadow. I love bright colour, smokey look, but most of the times it is just eyeliner and mascara for my eye make-up.

Pride- which product gives you the most confidence?

Withouth a doubt it has to be mascara. I always wear mascara, always. I can skip foundation, bronzer, lipstick, but not mascara. It is my must have for every day.

Lust- which item is at the top of your beauty wish list?

YSL Rouge Volupte lipstick #2 Sensual Silk. I love the colour so much, and the consistancy looks so nice. I hope I will be able to try it one day.

Envy- which make up product/look is great on others but not yourself?

Smokey eye. I have really small eyelids and eyes, so I am not able to do a lot of dark colour in my crease. I normally put dark eyeshadow in the outer corner to make my eyes look bigger.

BEAUTY BLOGGER TAG

Hello ladies! I saw the Beauty Blogger Tag and I decided to do it. This picture is made by me. Do you like it? I hope you enjoy. Here are the questions:

1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?

My hair is naturally curly, which is super annoying in the summer.

2. What is your natural hair color?

Naturally I am dark brown, almost black. But I dyed my hair cinamon light brown.

 I had almost every colour on my head.

3. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?

I dye it myself. If I have special occasion I will go to the salon. But overall it is too expensive for me!

4. How often do you wash your hair?

My hair is super dry, so I wash my hair twice a week, Tuesday and Saturday.

5. Do you wear the same style every day or change it?

I change it. I like wearing my hair curly, not natural curls, but made with curling iron, sometimes I straighten it.

6. Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon?

I've never been to a salon for mani/pedi! I do it all myself. I would love to go sometime! Do you?

7. How often to you change your nail polish?

I change my nailpolish once or twice a week, it depends what I'm doing.

8. Do you polish your toes in the winter, too or just in the summer?

I polish my toes all year long. In the winter they are red, navy, green, and in the summer they are a bit more neutral.

9. How long does it take to put on your makeup?

Everyday makeup takes me around 20 minutes. If I am doing something fancy on the weekend it takes me 30 - 40 minutes.

10. What do you do first? Face or eyes?

I always do my face first.

11. Do you "collect" makeup or just buy what you need when you need it?

I collect. I buy everything, even if it's not needed!

12. How often do you wear false eyelashes?

Almost never, but I really like how they look.

13. Do you do a full face of makeup every day?

Yes.

14. Do you wear makeup when you are home alone (or with family)?

Usually just bb cream, mascara and my eyebrows.

15. Will you leave the house without makeup?

I will but usually I don't. I have to have my eyebrows.

16. How many high end products do you have?

Not enough. I love everything drugstore and affordable.

17. How often do you wash your makeup brushes?

I'm so bad at this, but I am getting better. I wash them once a week.

18. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you are getting dressed?

I always decide when I am getting ready. Not the best idea, because I am always in a hurry.

19. How often do you change your handbag?

Probably once a month, sometimes sooner.

20. What time do you get up & go to sleep?

I go to sleep around midnight and wake up around 6.30 am.

21. How often & when do you workout?

I run every Monday, and do my cardio 2-3 times a week.

22. Left-handed or Right-handed?

Right handed.

23. How tall are you?

163 cm

24. Do you speak a foreign language?

English and a little German. 

25. How many pets do you have?

A dog Thor and two birds.

26. How often are you on Blogger?

Every day.

Sometimes I do, but I should be better at this.

Nika's Beauty Land, Nika is my name, and I love everything pretty so I decided about the Beauty, and Land is to make everything more fun.

30. What kind of camera do you use for photographs?

Nikon, Coolpix.

31. How often do you clean your house? (Daily, weekly, other)?

Daily. But still I think it gets messy all the time.

32. What is your favorite color?

Pink.

33. What is your favorite beauty/fashion magazine?

Cosmopolitan or Vogue.

34. Do you swear?

Sometimes, but try not to.

35. What are you doing with the rest of your day?

I blog, work at local beauty shop - half time, read blogs, I walk my dog, watch Youtube, go shooping, bake, hang out with my friends, boyfriend.
